Booking for the Motorrad Central Road & Track Weekend at knockhill on 30/31st May 2015 is up. With a trip up there as im sure kev and mark can vouch for that as well. good laugh and camping at the track too.

Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May 2015


A Bike Trackday Weekend, 2 days of awesome track time! On Saturday 30th we will run in ‘reverse’ direction and on Sunday 31st we will run normal clockwise direction. There will be 3 groups running from 9am – 5pm both days; Novice, Intermediate & Advanced.

Also, over the weekend there will be instructor sessions, suspension set-up/advice, merchandise and you can test the amazing S1000RR out on track (subject to availability and bookings on the day).

The BMW Motorrad range will also be available for demonstration rides on the local public roads both days. This is free of charge and open to anyone who has a valid UK road bike licence.

This is a must for any bike trackday fan!

Up to Christmas £105 per day / £199 both days

Up to bike show £115 per day / £219 both days

Full price £135 per day

Registration: Takes place in Kinnairds restaurant (next to our Karting Centre). All riders must complete, sign and date a Knockhill Racing Circuit indemnity form prior to being allowed onto the circuit. Registration opens 1 hour prior to your confirmed track time. Late arrivals will be briefed at the first possible opportunity, however you may miss your first session or some open tracktime.

Drivers Licence: You must bring with you and present a full current and VALID UK drivers licence issued by the DVLA or your valid SACU/ACU Race Licence.

You will not be allowed out on the circuit without showing your licence. A DVLA licence check may be arranged if you are unable to present your Licence at registration. This service is subject to a £10.00 administration charge and not possible on a Sunday, bank holidays and out with the DVLA telephone opening hours.

Safety Briefing: All riders must attend the safety briefing prior to being allowed out on track. Briefings will start at approximately 20 minutes prior to your confirmed track time so please ensure you leave ample time to arrive and register at the circuit.

Clothing and Helmets: All helmets must have the gold ACU approved stamp. Riders must wear a full-face crash helmet when on track along with a full piece leather suit or 2 piece leather suit that zips the full way around your waist and back. Correct motorcycle gloves and boots are also required.

Cancellations and Non-Attendance: If for any reason you are unable to attend your chosen date, we will accept one change to an alternative date provided you give us 3 full days notice by telephone. Cancellations made after this period will incur a 50% additional re-booking charge. Non-attendance will forefit your booking. No refunds will be made.

Bikes & Noise Limit: Knockhill Racing Circuit has a noise limit of 105db. All bikes should be mechanically sound and be in a suitable condition to be ridden on track. You will be required to complete and sign self scruitineering form at registration to confirm that you are happy with the condition of your bike. Race Bikes are not permitted on Bike trackdays/evenings with the exception of our 'Open advanced road and race trackdays/evenings'

Parking: Bikes can park in the main paddock when they are not out on track. Bikes will then enter the holding area to go on track. Riders will wait in this area before a marshal calls you forward into the pitlane, from here you’ll proceed on track when instructed by the light signals at the end of the pit lane.

Refreshments: Kinnairds restaurant will be open and available for both hot and cold food and drink during your visit to Knockhill.

Fuel: Please be aware that we are unable to sell you fuel for your bike, please ensure that you purchase fuel on route to the circuit.

Camping: Riders are welcome to stay on site over the weekend.

And I couldn't resist and bought myself a secondhand set of R1 wheels for WOWs, so will have to get them sorted and taken up to Mark before the trip, plus my iJac lift and some tyre warmers ... lordy, what am I like?

With Lee Mark? He is very good, I had 2 days instruction with him this year at both Cadwell and Knockhill, excellent coach.

You'll end up at the pointy end of the Fast group Mark, my riding came on in leaps and bounds and Knockhill is a sweet little track to use to improve your riding skills.

And the Ducati Glasgow Friday evening booked ... only 39 places left ...
