Your local track?

I'm determined to get a track day (or two) in this year, and it would be good to meet up with some of you lot, rather than be Billy no mates. So I'm wondering which tracks do most members ride at?

Not everyone fills in their location bit - so post up which track you regularly travel to. My local circuit is Croft, but it has few dates and costs a small fortune.

Cadwell and Donington are a similar distance. Never rode Oulton but that would be next closest.

I suppose Knockhill is do-able too.

Cadwell, Cadwell and Cadwell, at the end of the day that is my all-time favourite track and one I ride quite well now but always room for improvement.

Blagger - never been to Knockhill so I might come up and hang out. Have a day out, etc.

I really fancy Donington or Cadwell. My mate works for Northgate and can get me 50% of rentals, so I want to take advantage :-)

I really was hoping someone might say Anglesey as I really like the look of that circuit and you can camp there to save costs.

KS forum track day at Anglesey anyone?

Re: Your local track?

@Camel; Anglesey, now you're talking, really want to do that track but looking a bit tight this year time-wise ... would deffo love to trog up and do that, got the tent and all that gear and I have heard the facilities are now spot on there. I can't do May, June, July or August, so that only really leaves September as I'm busy in October and November too ... will have a dekko at dates for Sept. if anybody else fancies that, please let me know on here.

Re: Your local track?

Nowt coming up, though Donnington comes up 23rd Sept, with Oulton the next day, double-header anybody? For Donny, it has to be a noisy day for me ... that's with FE, will check out NL ... hold on .... 22nd Anglesey comes up ... Using your TDR nick will get you a 10% discount if you book over the phone, by the way.

I'll go for that, if anybody else is interested, put your name up on this thread.

So No Limits give a 10% discount if you're a TDR forum member? I think I have a log in for there.

I'm speaking to a mate about Croft on 14 May - anyone already booked on that?

Re: Your local track?

Mind you, Anglesey is a hefty old drive up for one trackday and, at the moment, impossible to link up with any other ... might skip it this year but do the double header with FE at Donny followed by Oulton the next day ... over 300 miles just to get to a track for one day is a bit much ... decisions, decisions ... though I do have a date with the turn onto the start-finish straight at Donny ... :lush:

Re: Your local track?

Given up on booking any more in the UK, September seems to be falling through ... might have one last look at Cadwell but that will be it ... Roll on November and 3 days on-track at Jerez.
