Spies to leave Yamaha and MotoGP

I always liked Ben Spies, he dominated WSBK when he was there for the short period. He suited that series and proved he has the minerals in any situation. However he has never really done himself justice in Moto GP.

Question is now who will replace him. Of course Id like to see Cal take his seat, but with pressure from Dovi and you could never rule out a return from Rossi. Looks like it could be a few interesting press conferences over the next few weeks.

Re: Spies to leave Yamaha and MotoGP

I'm hoping it's Cal but i think he might goto Ducati.... would be a mistake IMO if he did go red.

Hope to see Spies mixing it up in WSB.

Spies to leave Yamaha and MotoGP

Dovi will get it, for putting Tech 3 on the podium 3 times so far.....

Cal's only chance of a factory ride is the duke.

Rossi will stick with the Duke. Wanting to prove its not only C Moaner that can make it work.

Hayden to be moved out to 2nd team but still on a duke.

Just my thoughts.

Re: Spies to leave Yamaha and MotoGP

DOnt know if Dovi will get it after his latest outburst of if I dont get a factory Yam ride Im off to WSBK. He had minimal success on the Honda in terms of firsts, so whos going to risk it again. Lorenzo is already talking about Vale goign back, then there also the rumour of a satelite honda ride offer from naka........

Roll on fridays press conference, and the weekends events!

Re: Spies to leave Yamaha and MotoGP

Moto GP has always had a fair amount of action, no complaints for me. Simoncelli was by far the most exciting rider of late due to his hunger for it. Then Cal this season as he's the first brit with a chance of getting anywhere, gives it a bit of patriotism.
