Oil return pipe leak

Post by Mattzo27 » 04 Jul 2013, 22:55

Ok guys have a small oil leak doing my head in just started happening. Its a leak from the oil return pipe from the cylinder head. Obviously the seals gone but in order to fix this the cylinder head needs to be removed and a new oring seal.

Now I dont have the skills to do this myself so how much would this cost at a garage roughly?

I reckon its the seal. The engine wasnt long rebuilt so I have a feelong that the seal has been caught or is just crap. Either way will have to take the cylinder head off which is waaaaaaay beyone my mechanical know how

I wish I looked at haynes manual and I have no idea when it comes to cylinder head removal. Very complicated

You sure it's not coming from a tiny hole just under the exhaust ports....can't tell from the tiny pic.
