I ran these pads on iron discs and they were fine. Any chance they are contaminated?

I change fluid every TD with a cheap new unopened bottle

Sounds a bit like the fluid is boiling Herby - small wonder having to slow both bike and your weight down... :lmao: I use Castrol SRF, a tad expensive, but the guys at Road and Race Performance swear by it...

Herby, when was the last time you overhauled your callipers mate? When you have the bike off the ground on that brilliant stand of yours, does the front wheel turn easily and spin on its own for a couple of turns at least? The pistons in the callipers might be binding slightly on the disks and creating continual heat which will boil the fluid... Just a thought mate.

Ah, I thought that might be your response. I bit the bullet, bought a litre of it and did both front and rear brakes and what was left over didn't go off even after 6 months - bottle tightly sealed, mind you. I have brakes that work, and work and work... now, call me a Herby, but I'd rather be able to lift the back end up under hard braking after 5 laps, 3rd session, when some divot piles into a corner right in front of me on my line - pause for breath - which I've had to do several times at places like Cadwell... and my main problem is making out I intended to do that anyway. We are talking about brakes here, not RWBHP.... :lmao: If it isn't the fluid mate, you have a Gremlin in your system. Is your M/C new? If not, when was it last overhauled.
